Army Emergency Relief Scholarship Program

Applications for AER 2018-2019 scholarships are now available at www.aerhq.org. Scholarship opportunities are available for Soldier’s spouses and children registered in DEERS, pursuing their first undergraduate degree or certificate at an accredited college or university. (Additional eligibility criteria can be found at www.aerhq.org.) Within a 50 mile radius of Fort Rucker, 82 recipients received scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year. 17 spouses received a total of $29,150 (average of $1714.71) and 65 children received a total of $152,000 (average of $2338.46.) Cutoff date for scholarship application paperwork is April 2, 2018.
