The Center Library and the Alabama Humanities Foundation are pleased to announce their partnership to bring area veterans and active duty members a new program titled Literature and the Veteran Experience. It will provide an opportunity to meet and discuss readings from books, short stories, poems, and personal accounts of their choice within a safe environment. The program will be led by a veteran who is also an active reader and has experience in leading discussion groups. Registration is limited to the first 15 participants and is open to both veterans and active-duty soldiers.
