Join us on Saturday, 21 April for the Fort Rucker Survivors & Fallen Heroes Run in Remembrance and Honor 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run. The Fort Rucker Physical Fitness Center and Survivor Outreach Services host this event in remembrance of Fallen Service Members and in honor of our Survivor families within the Alabama and Northwest Florida area. Fallen Heroes names will be placed on gold stars and worn by runners. (Blank stars will be available to write in and honor Fallen Heroes not from our area). We invite the public to join us on this day to pay tribute to our fallen and to support Surviving Families.
Pre-registration packet pick up is on Friday, 20 April from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Fortenberry-Colton PFC or morning of the race at race site, Fort Rucker Physical Fitness Center, Bldg 4605, Novosel Street, Fort Rucker. Race day registration begins at 6:30 am and ends at 7:40 am. The 5K Race begins at 8:00 am, and the Fun Run starts after the end of the 5K, with awards at approximately 09:30 am. Participants are encouraged to pre-register at either Physical Fitness Center or MWR Central.

Trophies will be awarded to the 5k Overall Female and Male, & Grandmaster Female and Male. First Place trophies, Second and Third Place medallions will be awarded for the age categories in both males and females. Trophy and 8 Medals will be awarded to the First Place "Competitive" Team. Streamers will be awarded to the top 3 "Competitive" teams. 5K Race Course: Start will be on Corner of 3rd and Gladiator and will finish on the track behind Andrews.

Cost
  • *Entry Fee for participants other than Survivors: Pre-registration fee is $20 thru 15 April and $25 on 16 April and after, a t-shirt is included while supplies last and a $15 no shirt option is available. *Entry fee for competitive eight person teams is $120 thru 15 April and $160 on 16 April and after, a t-shirt is included while supplies last and a $100 no shirt option is available. Team participants are eligible for individual awards.
  • *Entry fee for noncompetitive eight person teams is $30 (does not include t-shirt). All non-competitive teams registering before 16 April will receive a streamer and after 16 April while supplies last. Noncompetitive teams are not eligible for any awards.
  • *Fun Run registration is free to all children 12 and under, each child will receive a medal.
  • T-shirts are $15 without registration.
