Teen Babysitter’s Course

The Teen Babysitter's Course will be held on July 18 at the Youth Center on 7th & Division Road (Bldg. 2800), from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The Babysitter Course is limited to 14 participants! Participants must be ages 13 - 18. A valid CYS registration is required. Participants must bring snack & lunch. Permission forms must be signed by a parent for the Child Abuse Training, and release forms for the youth names to be place on the CYS Babysitter List. Youth must complete the one day training to receive certification. The training course will cover the following: American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training, Home & Fire Safety Training, basic childcare, feeding, diaper changing, and basic Child Abuse Training.
