Commanders Cup Soft Ball League

Softball season is here! Join Fort Rucker Family & MWR for our Commanders Cup Softball League.

  • Players must play for their Company / Battalion. 
  • Only unit teams with no more then 50% of civilians are eligible for Commander's cup points or to compete in the post championship softball tournament.
  • Open teams (not affiliated with a unit) will be accepted for regular season, however they will not be eligible  for the post championship or Commander's cup points.
  • Open teams are not required to maintain a ratio of 50% active duty.
  • Coaches Clinic: May 3rd at 1200 7 May 3rd at 1730 meetings will take place at the Fort Rucker Physical Fitness Center.
  • Open softball tournament (Open 7 unit teams) June 18th & 19th.
  • Post championship (unit teams only) June 21st-24th.
  • Open teams are not required to maintain a ratio of 50% active duty.

Only 80 tickets are available for this event. Tickets are sold as a pair, you can purchase a table that includes 4 tickets. This event will sell out fast, get your tickets now! 

Stage Side reserved seating- $50.00 per ticket 

General reserved Seating - $45.00 per ticket

Dress code will be Semi Formal - Semi-formal attire is an outfit that is dressier than what you'd wear to an office but not as dressy as a formal evening gown or tuxedo. Semi-formal attire is typically worn to weddings, holiday parties, and to fine restaurants

MENU

  • Starter: Mixed greens with tomato Cucumber carrots, shredded cheese, and croutons.
  • Entre:
    Beef Short ribs with mushroom bordelaise (served with asparagus and potato au gratin)
    Roasted chicken breast with lemon, caper sauce (served with asparagus and potato au gratin)
    Vegetarian option, Mushroom, spinach risotto with asparagus, picked summer squash.
  • Dessert: Dulce de leche mousse on pound cake
  • Table-side Bar Service

 

There will be a photo OP backdrop to take pictures at.

Each person will receive a commemorative etched wine glass to mark the evening with the date on it.

Seating Times will be assigned to you when you purchase your ticket(s). Seating Starts at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and a show to follow. Entertainment begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.
