Youth Center

The Youth Center has a wide range of programs, offering fun-filled afternoons and evenings. Free Middle School Teen (MST) programs are offered daily after school and in the afternoons during the summer for youth ages 11–15 and teens ages 16–18. MST morning camps are also offered at a nominal fee during the summer to complement the free afternoon program (minimum of 10 participants required). There are special activities for youth ages 11–18 scheduled on a continual basis, including social activities and field trips. CYS programs utilize partnerships with 4-H Clubs Boys and Girls Clubs of America to bring enhanced curriculum and other opportunities for growth and development to our children and youth. Programs are intended to offer positive alternatives that will minimize “at risk” behavior during parental duty hours.

Relocation Assistance and Transition Assistance are offered by Child and Youth Services through our youth sponsorship clubs which focus on relocation support and life transitions that military-connected children and youth often encounter. Children and youth will find themselves better prepared for and able to cope with any changes and stresses that they may encounter to their parents' military requirements.

We can also provide parents with access to the tools necessary to guide their children and youth through relocation and life/school transitions-allowing parents to focus on their military missions.

If you would like your child to be assigned a youth sponsor, please send an e-mail request to ftnovosel_youthsponsorship@army.mil and we'll partner your child with a sponsor from one of our age appropriate CYS programs to provide relocation support and peer to peer information.
